Wow. I've been practically MIA the last few days. I guess I was so crushed by the lack of PotC tickets on Thursday, I just fell apart.

No, actually, just busy. Thanks to Herne51, I'm addicted to Warhammer again, and I've been prepping my army. Nothing like painting wee little toy soldiers to make you feel accomplished or something.

That, and the bad news about Bertha (and subsenquent emptying of pockets...literally) have kept me from having much desire to post.

I had high hopes for FoL this year...but my boss has changed my hours again, and now getting to SC meetings is problematic.

Beh. Will there be no end of good news?

I guess not. On the upside, I've spent several days off with Bear...wow. Four whole days...what a luxury! :) That's made me happy. That, and watching him play Katamari Damacy/We [heart] Katamari. He's been kicking some serious Katamari booty...and hey, everyone needs a good escape now and again!

Now the only downside is this. This time of year I suffer from horrible insomnia; the night is so short, my body's signals are ALL screwed up...so I have trouble winding down and staying asleep. And tonight, for the first time in months, DSO's snoring his head off...and I can't sleep through it. Ugh. So here I am. 4:45 in the morning, and I'm up, posting this lame, 'what am I up to' post ;)
