A most excellent time was had by all...

I did something for the first time last night (and things I haven't done are getting rarer and rarer...a hazard of getting old(er)).

I tried a hookah. With nothing illegal in it, thank you. My experimentation with that sort of thing is long in my past.

The hookah was lovely. :)

The beer, ale, and other assorted libations were equally lovely. The ancient but excellent plum mead was exceptionally nice. Wish I'd had more of that. The 12 year old whiskey was also nice, but a bit less polite than the mead.

So to new friends, newer acquaintences, and all the things that fall between: Thanks. That sort of thing is just food for the soul.
