Card of the Day: Child of Poetry (Page of Cups)
Broke out my rarely used William Blake Tarot deck. In the depths of this sleepless morning, it seemed appropriate.

"I found them blind: I taught them how to see". Feelings of creative restlessness and artistic impulses. Sparks are flying. Learning through experience. Taking risks. Bending over backwards in your effort to see the appropriate direction for self-development and creativity. Looking for inspirational influences in your environment. In the creative process: An inspirational breakthrough is at your feet; it is up to your to pick up the energy and make the most of it.

Card of the Day: Three of Cups, reversed
Sometimes called Abundance.

There are three cards in the tarot that focus on the group - each from a different point of view. For the Hierophant, it's the formal approach. For the Three of Pentacles it's teamwork, and for the Three of Cups, it's emotions. What does it feel like to join with others? What is friendship and community? These are the questions answered by the Three of Cups.

It's time to gather in the kith and kin.

You know, I think I drew this recently. I'll have to go back and see...

It's sometimes called Temptation. Choices. Daydreams. Fantasies.

Ahh, the sky high, castle in the clouds. Wishful thinking. In reality, I have a choice to make about an emotional decision. Many options are open, but I need to think them through carefully in order to make an informed choice.

Intuition senses all manner of potentials, but my imagination is working overtime. Nothing will come of all my hopes, if I do not act decisively and work hard to bring them to fruition.

Card of the Day: Queen of Cups
The personality of the Queen of Cups combines the positive water energy of the Cups suit with the inward focus of a Queen. Because she has a sweet, loving and sensitive nature, the Queen of Cups has a kind word for everyone and never reacts with anger or impatience. There is a gentleness about her that soothes and calms. Compassion is her watchword. Her reactions to the world are guided by her feelings. In all matters, she lets her heart lead the way. She senses emotional currents and knows what others are experiencing without having to ask. She is never moody, but understands moods and their influence. She trusts her intuition and so is more open to knowledge that comes from within herself and beyond. She is often moved by the beauty and tragedy of life. The Queen of Cups feels deeply and has a reverence for all aspects of creation. Her love includes and embraces everyone and everything.

Time to call R and see what's up.
