During a lull at work today, I got a lol.
We were discussing hobbies and geekiness and what not, and I noted, somewhat sadly, that Gary Gygax had passed on. My coworker, Thor, stared at me a moment, and I said, "You know. Helped invent Dungeons and Dragons? Guess he failed his saving throw."
Four pairs of eyes STARED at me...uncomprehending. Except Thor...who just quietly put his head on the desk and chuckled. "Oh god. What's worse...I got that."
